Testo: Ho contattato il B&B "Il Mirto Bianco" a S.Agnello perchè volevo prenotare e sono stata tratta letteralmente a pesci in faccia da ******** alla quale ho chiesto come mai la cifra indicata nella mail di 60€ a notte per una doppia era diversa rispetto alle tariffe indicate sul loro sito. La signora mi ha risposto in modo arrogante dicendomi "cosa pensa di trovare a meno di 60 euro?" e poi mi ha detto che quanto visto da me su internet non corrispondeva al vero perchè è lei che aggiorna il sito. La conversazione è andata avanti per e-mail nella quale ho fatto presente il modo ineducato e arrogante di trattare un potenziale cliente che aveva telefonato perchè voleva prenotare e chiedeva spiegazioni. Ho inviato le mail anche al titolare del presente sito per segnalare lo spiacevole inconveniente. Ho ricevuto dal Sig.Maresca una risposta seria e professionale, invitandomi a rendere pubblico il mio disappunto.

Testo: Just returned from a glorious week in Sorrento. We stayed at the Corso Italia Suites, also known as Sorrento Centro Apartments, right on the Corso Italia (main route through the town). The location was brilliant. Walk out the door and you are in the heart of the shopping area. Piazza Tasso, the main square, with its restaurants etc is two minutes walk away. The port, with its ferry services is 10-15 minutes walk. The train station and bus station are just ten minutes. The accommodation is in an old high-ceilinged building. Inside, the apartment has been refurbished in a modern style and is spotlessly clean. Our lounge area had settee, dining table for four, cooking area (ingeniously in a free standing cupboard) which included two ring hob, sink and fridge. We had two bedrooms, one twin and one double. Only complaint here was the pillows were hard! The bathroom had a shower and bidet, hairdrier and plenty of soft towels. We had a tiny balcony, if you could call it that. Just enough for one chair (sideways) to air washing but don''t expect a washing machine! No maid but we only stayed for a week, perhaps you can pay extra if you are there for a fortnight. Only complaint was it is a little noisy but that''s a small price to pay for being right in the heart of things.

Testo: Ol Sole Mio had the best Italian food in Sorrento. It''s owner, Anna Maria, is the third generation to own it. A small first floor with an open cooking area lets you watch your meal being created. The second floor has large tables and a curved ceiling. (All we needed was some paint brushes and we would have felt like Michaelangelo. The house wine is excellent. Brag about the food, and you just might get some lemoncello or Italian cookies from the grateful Anna Maria.

Testo: Having married in Sorrento 6 years ago, you could may I am a little bias but I truly do adore this area of Italy. The weather has always been glorious, and I love being able to combine places of interest with plain old lounging in the sun ! We have stayed in the Villa Maria and Michaelangelo hotels - the latter being far better on the food front. Both were clean and the staff helpful and friendly though. We return this year but under our steam, having rented an apartment just off Piazza Tasso and I hope it is a wonderful as our previous trips.

Testo: It was a lovely week, the weather was excellent and the hotel (Ambasciatori) superb. We visited the Mannekin most days and were always treated in a friendly and efficient way. We tried to send them an email to thank them for their hospitality, but could not obtain their address. Can anyone help?
